The bodice is made from two layers of tissue, in black and off white, over a camisole cut from gold and white floral Japanese chiyogami paper. The draping skirt, with its pointed train epitomizing the highest style of the time, is cut from black Nepalese paper. Stitched lines highlight the lines and folds of the dress.
