This week has flown by and we can’t believe it’s our last day here! The sun was back and we packed up the van and headed out. Our first stop was to a beach that was in desperate need of clean up. After filling all of our garbage bags, Mother Nature rewarded us with a rare sighting of a Cayman Parrot. These parrots have been rumored to be on Little Cayman but have not been spotted regularly.

We had to stop and take a picture of the iguana sign. We were surprised on how many you see.

We then headed to snorkel over to Owen’s Island where we got to relax, play in the sand, collect some more shoes and eat a nice lunch. It was nice to have a little “downtime” after an action packed week. A few of us might have gotten more sun than we should have. Hint: Look for our tell tale “boot” marks on our legs…

We headed back to the station to get showered and changed so we could check out the little museum and bird sanctuary before dinner.
